Does anyone have Speed on DVD?  Near the beginning Keanu Reeves uses a multitool to pry open the elevator door, then jams the plier head in the track to hold the door open.  I spotted it on TV a day or two ago but it went by so fast I couldn't ID the model.

In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I remember that, but I couldn't remember if we ever came to a conclusion as to what it was.

I was hoping we could maybe blow the screenshots up a bit and see if we can spot any identifying marks.

It looks like a Leatherman...what year did that movie come out?

Maybe a SOG Powerlock...but then again, Leatherman tools are more common.

I think that plier head is definetely a LM IMO. I'd guess PST or Super tool... Any reasons to assume one or the other?

The bottom ends seem a little wide for a PST.   That's just a guess though.

I would say it is an original LM Supertool. I guess it was about the same year that LM Supertool came out and the movie speed was filmed. There were few choices of MTs during those years and LM was the most popular. That is only my opinion.

That is exactly right- you can indeed tell it is wider!
