Many Happy returns of the day from one scout to another I am assuming you were a scout at some stage but never mind if you were not still Happy Birthday.
I love my leatherman tools like I love my lady an kids !
I just have a few more of them then the wife and kids lol :-)

Actually, not only was I a scout, but my mother was chairperson of the local Baden Powell Association for a couple of years.  Scouting has always been important to me, but that's not the reason I chose this knife to give away.

I'd originally planned to give away a nice fixed blade but I opted for this one as it's legal for anyone anywhere to enjoy!

Happy Birthday, Grant. How do you spend the day, usually? In India, it is typically a day to wear new clothes, meet elder-folks, pray, and then have friends/family come over for a small celebration in the evening. Sure, you do get gifts as well. ;-)

I really have simple pleasures when it comes to my birthday.  I have the day off (not planned, just worked out that way) so I plan to run a few errands and maybe make a nice supper for my wife and I, and for the rest I don't plan to do much more than sit in front of a nice fire, watch movies and hang out here in front of the computer.

We are experiencing some very heavy rain and fairly strong winds, so I am in a way forced to sit in front of the fireplace most of the day as water gets forced in the chimney and floods the fireplace if I don't have a good fire going.  It's a tough job but someone has to do it!  :D

That knife brings back memories for me.  My first knife was a scout knife, but it was a blue cub scout version. I can remember how proud I was to have it dangling from my belt loop.
