Sheath Question
on: October 21, 2011, 12:38:55 AM
I recently saw somewhere (I can't remember) a standard nylon sheath with the grey Leatherman and grey logo that's on the black molle sheath. Has anyone else ever seen these and if so do you know where I can get several of them? Thanks

I think he is saying it has the leatherman logo and says leatherman like the black molle sheath but it is on the standard nylon sheath.

Well, this is a genuine senior moment. I actually have the non molle black sheath with grey logo and lettering: it's inside the clam pack of a BO Supertool 200. But, it's still not what I want or would like to see. I would really like to see LM make nylon sheaths like the one on the far right, with grey lettering and logo like the other 2. That's my preferrd sheath of just about all of them. You can get 2 bit cards, a small flashlight, and a Fisher or Zebra compact pen or a bit extender along with the tool, and it still shuts nicely. Maybe even replace the velcro with a plastic adjustable buckle.  I know it doesn't go along with their black and yellow theme they're so fond of, but I know at least one person that would buy at least a dozen of 'em if they found their way into production.

Good luck to you... As often is the case, sheath designs are a moving target.
