Question guys? Are either the Wingman and/or the Sidekick able to use the LM Bit Adapter or bit extension with the Phillips driver? Thanks!

I think the Wingman is excellent, in fact it is almost ready to be my alternate (pocket carry) EDC.  The only thing I don't like about is the combo edge blade.

Now I need a sidekick so I can swap the plain edge blade in.  I really, really, really dislike combo edge blades.

As of today, I have both of them.  I bought two Wingman's last week from Home Depot.  The Sidekick I had to order.  The Sidekick came today and it has the leather pouch/sheath and the carabiner.  The Wingman just came by itself.  The Wingman was a much better deal at $25 @ HD.  I had to order the Sidekick online and including shipping the best price was @ L.L. Bean for $45.  The Wingman suits my EDC needs better.  The perfect lineup for me would be substituting the wood saw on the Sidekick for the scissors on the Wingman.  And substitute the can/bottle opener with the Package opener.   :tu:   :D

Got my Wingman and my Sidekick from Amazon last week Friday and I still haven't taken them off my belt. I use the Caribiner for my keys. Love em both to death. Currently using new nylon Leatherman sheaths to protect them both. I usually have so much garbage in my pockets  that will scratch them up. :climber:

I finally got my Wingman yesterday from Home Depot. While I am not overly impressed from my first impressions if it performs well I think we have a winner.  :tu:

Really?  Even for $25?  I got the Sidekick too but had to order it online and it cost $45.  I'm not impressed by the wood saw on the Sidekick but really like the scissors on the Wingman.  If I could have bought the Sidekick for $25 I would be more impressed with it.  But for me, the tool lineup and price of the Wingman is impressive.  :tu:

I'm in with a Wingman as of this afternoon. First impression is that for $25 it's one hell of a good deal. I'm going to take it to work tomorrow and see how it holds up.

I bought two Wingmans from HD and a Sidekick from KnifeCenter for 42.00 shipped. I been carrying both tools for a week. I have to say i like the leather sleeve and caribiner  that come with the Sidekick but i like the Wingman better. I don't have a problem with the combo blade. The nice thing about having both tools you can swap parts and and make your own custom tool.

Saw on the Sidekick makes for a great pumpkin carver. I got pumpkin guts in the tool but the open holes in the handle made short order of rinsing it out. Then a quick dry and oil. Sidekick 1, pumpkin 0

Is it just me or does it seem that the Wingman is more popular than the Sidekick?  It is for me because of the scissors over the wood saw.  I also like the package opener.  I think the $25 price point might have something to do with it too.

I think more people want the scissors as well as the price tag has something to do with it. I also wonder why Home Depot only carries the Wingman at the moment.

For the same reason they always carried the Kick but not the Fuse; they probably don't move a whole lot of multitools and so they just want to have one high-end option and one low-end the option. So it was Kick and Wave, soon to be Wingman and Wave.

Oh, I'm in too. I picked mine up a couple weeks ago, and got another over the weekend. That one went to a co-worker who is a fellow Eagle Scout, just got married, and did not own a multitool. Good occasion to correct that.

+1 for the Wingman i like it better than the Sidekick even if they were the sane price i would like the Wingman better. But i am glad i bought the Sidekick for the goodies it comes with.

I had a interest free card I get every other month or so if I use my HD card.  I got several other goodies while I was there.  They only had 24 so now they are down to 14 unless more have been bought.

Yep the price is the big reason. Locally it's $25 vs $38, and I just don't care for the carabiner and pouch enough to pay $13 for them.

Okay home slices I'm in with the wingman. My GF saw it and didn't believe it only cost $25. I read a post about somebody saying the hard wire cutter is poop but from what I can see its not meant to be a hard wire cutter. I really like it and I won't cry if I lose it.
