Looks great Dave!  Mine are the same way...the stainless that Wenger used sure seemed to hold up well.

I'm also impressed by the lack of corrosion on the Wenger liners. My older Vic's liners have much more corrosion than the liners in my older Wengers. The finish on the Wenger's steel is also a bit better, I suppose it could be from getting less use than the Vics do. In any case, I have been fortunate to acquire several Wengers with pocket wear on the scales and ZERO evidence of use :ahhh

+1! In the course of running through hundreds of used SAKs, I've had many very stiff (nail breaker) Vics and 4-5 wielded completely shut but not a single Wenger in those conditions. I think the Wenger liners are more resistant to corrosion.

I agree Robert.  The Wengers are so nice to open compared to a lot of the older Vics.  They really do seem to age well!   :D

This recent arrival should be posted here . . . it's a real beauty . . . an EvoGrip Blackout 11 in a limited edition of 50 made in 2013. Note the engraving in the scales and on the blade!

Hmmm . . . a fingerprint smudge visible . . . make note to check for that better!

More love for Wenger . . . with this Evolution 63, the Wenger version of the Victorinox Waiter. The combo blade is very nice.

Finally dug out a few Swiss Sportsman Wengers....here are the three colors in a totally weird creative pic. The green one is the scarce serrated version.

Recently won an auction for this beastly 6 layer vintage Wenger listed as a Suisse Multi Tool Pocket Knife Red. There was little action as a result of the listing title, however there was a bit of a bid war within the last hour of the auction and I ended up with it for what I feel was very reasonable. I'm excited to get it in, these are the listing pictures. I believe it has the rare snow scraper.

Great find PileDriver02128!!  :salute:

I have a few of these.  Looking to snatch up more since they are discontinued.  I'll be honest, I basically consider this knife the perfect EDC.  The flat phillips has so much more utility than the nail file.

Inline phillips? Check.  Beastly Wenger can opener?  Check.  Corkscrew?  Check.  Locking blade?  Check.

It is amazing.

Hi PD,

Not sure if Master Sportsman is an official Wenger name or a dealer name. Most Wengers of that period are unnamed.

Still it looks like you might have one. Its got the proper number of layers (6), and the crossbow shield and phillips sd.

Nice score!   :tu:

In addition to the above:

I only have one picture of a old 6-layer Wenger with the crossbow shield (the Master Sportsman). However on the later version with the cross-in-a-triangular-shield I have pictures of two different 6 layer knives. One has the scraper and the other has a plain metal file. Both of those have corkscrews. Very likely I don't have info on all versions.

Wenger Soft Touch? Evo knife with clip point, and serrated scissors

Are these rare? I got it in a grab bag, it wasn't the knife I was after.
What were you after, then?

They also manufacture cranes, I have a few American lattice boom crawler cranes which Terex eventually bought out
Terex had its main crane manufacturing factory in my town.

Posting this here too . . . a trio of BNIB Commanders with Loctite and Permatex logos . . . with obvious shelf age on the boxes and with aging lube in the knives. They are in pristine condition. Very nice Wenger equivalent of the 84mm Vic Sportsman, sans T&T.
