before there was Wenger there was Coutellerie Suisse...and with the addition of Stefan Schobers CS 1901 to my collection, I can now show the CS 1890, 1901 and 1908 together

yes thank you and particularly the Tahara tang stamp with the three faces logo is rare, more common is the three faces logo with WENGER DELEMONT but even that tang stamp is very rare....both are from the earliest years of Wenger (1907) until the late 1930s

sorting out some knives to be used in the book that I am writing (about vintage Wenger knives)
here are
1) a first shield cadet with a first shield 1908 soldier
2) three early Wenger "cadet" knives...one with an early three faces tang stamp, one with the first shield, and one with a Rothlisberger blade etch
3) 8cm officer knives
4) 9cm officer knives

thanks guys.  here are some vintage Gentleman's and Farmer's knives also.

there are a few more pieces on the way, and I will also have the full history of Coutellerie Suisse / Wenger soldier knives, starting with the CS 1890 & 1901

with this pandemic I am working on the book almost every day, I want to have it completed in the near future.  stay tuned, I will post the info once it is ready.

I work at home. It is possible to take photos of 85-mm Wenger tools.
