Went to St Ives last week, got cases in apartment opened the balcony doors to this......









A real life rescue on the harbour wall, the streets in St Ives are very narrow so I don't think an ambulance could get close enough, very exciting and you realise the precision of these guys hats off to a successful rescue....

Wow, I'm always amazed at the skills of helicopter pilots and their operatives when responding to things like this. The same goes for all those that do this type of risky job daily, be it land, air or sea

Hi Dunc, the lifeboat station is about 100yds to the right of where Im taking the picture from but the tide is out, so Im thinking thats why the helicopter is out.
