hello everyone at multitool.org.
on: November 03, 2011, 10:06:01 PM
hi everyone, my names is lewis, im 25, im a audio/video tech, and live in the uk in hertfordshire.

ive been reading posts for months now and finally decided to become a member of this very friendly and helpful forum.
i dont have as many multi tools as alot of you guys do but ive become addicted this year and thats how i found this forum.

i use to have a orignal leatherman wave till i cracked it using it as a hammer. after sending it to leatherman and getting the newer wave i decided to buy more.

i currently own a wave, LM blast (camo), LM juice s2, skeletool cx, SOG power assist, SAK clasic and a SAK tinker along with some unbranded ones.

every time i come to this forum i see more things i would like and the addiction grows.  :gimme:

ill have loads of questions for you guys down the line but till then hi all.

ps. i will most picks as often as i can.

thanks kirk. my girlfriend luvs cameras like i luv tools, so ive got more than enough cameras to take the pictures. just need to have enough time out of work to take them. but ill do my very best to contribute.

i also want to get some time to do some mods for the mod squad. i did a simple one with my SAK tinker which is now half black and half red. its no much but its a start. pics coming soon.

Hello and welcome Lewis  I joined not long ago with no intention of getting any more MT's but have since got eight more :ahhh you  well I really need that, must have it and so it begins :D You want to get a MUT as they have a hammer base on them :tu: but the tools themselves are aimed at military and gun enthusiast owners etc. A camo blast, nice, not seen many camo ones. Glad you joined us all here, some real wizards and clever helpful members :salute:

thanks badwolf. i must say i have been really tempted by the MUT but being as im in the uk and we cant carry fire arms i feel it wouldn't have enough use for me to justify buying. doesn't mean i wont get one one day.

and the camo blast was a gift from my dad on my birthday (november 2nd) and i luv it. i got him the standard blast for fathers day because he didn't have a multitool and now he luvs its, he uses it everyday. i think i have  passed the addiction up to him.

next on my list atm is a micra for my keys as those things are great. and because of something i read here im going to start going to car boot sales to see if i can find any hiden gems like some SAK's

also thanks  captain spaulding.  everyone here is so nice. compared to other forums i feel very welcome. thanks guys

i don't no how but i did forget one of my SAK's. i also have a silver alox electrician, its great for stripping cables. its only downfall is it doesn't have a lanyard ring so i cant put it on a p7 suspension clip. but im working on a cheap pocket carry sheath for it. ill post pics when it is done.

a mate at work said today that he has a beaten up SAK that i can have so i should get that tomorrow to. it will need some TLC and ill have to figure out what model it is but i look forward to it.

I dont no how much id need a hammer really but you guys have got me thinking now.

I would like a super tool first tho, as it would see a bit more action at work.
What else do you MUT owners (tho of you without guns and not in the military) use the C4 punch for?

Well Leatherman may call it a Bolt Override Tool but I call my one a 'meatball manoeuvring tool'  :P :D :D

Dear gods he knows not what he asks  :ahhh :ahhh :D :D, Sawman knows  ;) :D :D :D

Wellll , I had a blockage in the breach , fortunately I had the Booger Override tool handy  ;) :D

I had wondered about putting a point on the tool , but given it does not have a lock I am not so sure  :-\ :-\. I had wondered if it would be possible to utilize the thread connection to put something altogether different on there

Welcome, I'm New Too!
And I'm Not So Much On The Multi-Tool Kick As Much As I Am The SAK Kick Lol.
It's A Sickness And You Came To The Right Place To Not Cure Your Addiction.

Came Here With 10 ... Waiting For 8+ To Arrive, And Santa Is Bringing More For Christmas(I Think... And Hope!)
Oh And I Have Another Leatherman Squirt P4 Coming As Well, I Think Lol.
Only This One Will Be Grey, Not Blue, And It'll Be Given To Someone.

This All Is If The Trade Is Okay'd On Both Ends! Which I Always Do Very Good Trades, And Have Only Hit A Couple Of Little Bumps, So I Don't Stress Way Too Much.

Anyways, Welcome, And I Agree With The Others... You Need More SAK's!  :climber:  :sak:
