If I didn't know the seller I might suspect a shill bidder involved to drive the price up against foolish second bidder.
just $30 shy of the record held by the $690 1973 Soldier.
The 2nd highest bidder in that auction should send me a message, I have one for them at a significant discount from their last bid.If it was not so crazy a price it would make me feel better about what I had to pay for the last 'rare' one I picked up on ebay.
Olive Green. Hunter Green was a Target exclusive.
Imagine what a NIB Copper Cadet would go for if a gunmetal went for $660? I'm pretty sure the Copper Cadet is the only color I don't have and it appears that I never will. Anyone have the official list of colors the Cadet has been produced in? I've got the following:SilverRedBlackGunmetalHunter GreenAutumn OrangeBright OrangeNo Copper.

And its just 30 dollars If its for colliction why do you want it to be NIB ??!!The marks gives it more caracter .. And you are not going to use it Yeah, I saw that. The key word on that is "Used". Since it would be to finish off my collection it would have to be NIB. I have patience, one day I'll stumble across one for sale by someone that doesn't know how much it is worth.

Hi everyone,I am the very fortunate seller of that gunmetal cadet the other week. I just wanted to assure everyone that the auction was completely legitimate. Buyer paid quickly and I threw in an unopened silver cadet to show my gratitude. The price was well above my the market average of course but apparently he really needed that gunmetal cadet to compete his collection. We all know the feeling of overpaying for a particular sak that we really, really want:)On the other hand, the used copper cadet I was selling at the same time went for only $65. It looks like the copper cadet supply has finally caught up with the demand. Cheers, sak.collector
