For the Canadians here, Canadian Tire has 30% off on Leatherman tools this week.

Def,here's a question I think you can answer. Has Canadian Tire ever had special models of any tool made up for them, like Leatherman has done for Costco?

Not that I know of.  They have a few "Mass Market" labeled SAKs but that's about it.  You can get Recruits there with economy scales sometimes for as low as $5, but they are called "Drivers" instead of "Recruits."  A SAK by any other name....

But no, no Charge SLV, no Canadian Tire Squirts etc, or at least none I have ever encountered.  They usually only carry three or four SAKs, two or three Leathermans, a Gerber or two, and some cheaper stuff.  Of course the one they just opened here in town (moved the old one to a new shopping district) is supposed to be the largest one in Canada, so it might be better outfitted.  I'll have a look when I get a chance and report back!
