Don't understand needing scissors if you have a knife...

Scissors are still better for precise cut's, plus if you've got small kid's scissors are a lot safer too :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

I agree with you in a way.  For example, I am pleased that my Supertool doesn't have any scissors as I regard the Supertool as being heavy duty.  However, the Swisstool is just as heavy duty but I regard that as a tool for every task.
I'm back!!

Its easier to cut your finger nails with scissors , trim the end of bandages and dressings ,Cut paper without the need of a cutting board underneath , trim your nose hairs .

If the knife blade is sharp enough you can do all those things. Except trimming nose hairs. Neither scissors or knife go anywhere near my snout.

I see what your saying BUT  ;)  Why have a multitool in the first place if you can do it all with a knife ?

Good point. It is about convenience,of having the right tool to do all in one package. While I personally don't need the scissors, I find the bottle/can openers, screwdrivers, files, etc very handy.

You are quite right . I suppose thats why there are so many different SAKs and multitools . So we can find one that suits our individual needs .
