I just picked it up at the mail office! :tu:
Thanks! I love the extra gift (a very small USB thumb drive, very cool!) and the personal message. And yes, you got it right: Gelukkig Kerstfeest :D

yey! i apologize for the slightly-used-look of the utili-key. it was just placed in a drawer along with some keys and i rarely took it out (and has never seen much use) so i was a bit surprised that it looked that way when i was packing it.

anyway, i'm glad that you also liked the extra gift. it's actually a transflash/micro sd card reader. i included a memory card with it so that you can use it directly, just in case you didn't have any extra memcard lying around. i've tested it with sdhc's so you should be able to use 8gb or bigger memcard's.  :ahhh

gelukkig kerstfeest everyone!

now, where's that postman?  :twak:

Nothing here yet, the post is awful slow apparently.

My wife sent a package to her parents priority mail, and sent two more parcel post the next day to a different location.  The parcel post packages arrived earlier in the week and the priority package is MIA.  I fear my package(sent from a US origin if the list steve posted is correct) is also MIA.   :-\

The one sent to me has not arrived, nor has the one I've sent out.  Canada Post is just messing with me right now.

Ah well, Merry Christmas to all.  I'm sure a gift a few days late will hurt no one.

Does anyone remember the article in the Daily Mail about last year's Christmas post?

Belated best wishes: Christmas post is still being delivered - three weeks late

My gift came from Canada, 385 miles north of me and it took 10 days. THAT IS 38.5 MILES PER DAY, 1.6 MILES PER HOUR.

Exactly! I am in portland oregon which about 1 state away.., he is north of Seattle near Vancouver just across the border. Maybe 250 miles. Is everything this slow up there??...

At least I know my gift made it to my recipient early on.  I was worried it wouldn't make it but it got there the same week I sent it.

Now just to wait for my gift.  And the waaaaiiting is the hardest part!

Yeah, they need a few days off from holding mail. They have a lot more mail to hold indefinitely this time of year. Very busy time for them
