Atwood Steel Bookie. Not just a bookmark!

I picked up my Steel Bookie today at the post office. From the pictures on Planet Pocket Tool, I was unsure how big it would be. I am very pleased with the size. In a different setting, this would be an ideal sized blade for a folder.

Despite its flat design, the hole and handle shape is actually very comfortable to hold. Really a nice size for a desk knife.

But how well does it cut?

Very well indeed. I would say this one is a home run.

Do you get any kind of sheath with it?

There's a clear plastic sheath, but honestly, I have a LOT of other Atwoods with bottle openers. I'll save this one for knife duty.

It looks like a great little knife. I have a fascination with small fixed blades and this does seem pretty sweet.

However, I do still have some issues with the placement of the bottle opener, especially when the handle could have been "upside down" just as easily.
