That Dremel saw looks like an awesome little tool! I like the angle of the handle better than the JML. I also already have some investment in Dremel stuff, so it would be the better choice for me.
As for use, I can already see lots of things to do with it... I already use my Dremel 300 with the router collar and various woodworking bits to do jack-o-lanterns with my kids at Halloween. That saw would make a great tool for doing some of the designs that are in our 'pumpkin bibles' "Extreme Pumpkins", and "Extreme Pumpkins II".

With a grinder wheel in it, it would be great for shaping Styrofoam for model building too. I can see a lot of potential use for it!

My wife, on the other hand, won't.
