Paracord and leather workstation (lots of pics)
on: November 28, 2011, 03:44:44 AM
I started this a while ago but never posted it here, so i figured since i had the pic's id share them with you. i needed something to carry my tools rather then just a toolbox, at the same time, i do both paracord and some leather work, so i saw this neat little workstation, but it was one sided, so i decided to double it for both leather and paracord, and make it to my specs, so this is what i came up with, grant it its not the best, and could be made with better supply's but, you work with watcha got! some stuff ive added since the last pic, but nothing worth taking a pic.. and with that being said here's the pics,  JR

Starting with the old boxes.

And on with the new! (leather)

And the other side! (paracord)

And all boxed up!

Mmmm that's a cool idea. I might have to build me one similar. A 3 compartment one. Knife modding supply, paracord, and flashlight modding. Mmmmm
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

Hmm, 3comp? That's going to be tricky, but a neat idea! Although, 3comp and tools, that's going to be heavy,, JR

You can do three, but its a little tricky, yet again its going to be getting big and heavy! but i like the unit, it comes in handy, its just dragging it out, putting something protective on the table so it doesn't scratch, then lifting it onto the table, then when done, all in reverse.. but i don't have any room to work, and this gives me some work area, and packs all my tools in one, JR

Hey that looks really good. I toyed with something like that when I first got into leather. Instead, I made myself a small workshop upstairs. It basically fits on a student desk, an adjoining Microwave cart, and an old TV cart that I placed a few plastic organizers on.

A little Leatherman information.

WOW that's a lot of stuff, as you can see I don't near that much, nor that much space to work. I wish I did, JR
