Very Nice. I Like That A Lot And That Color Is Great.  :tu:
Thanks, I like it.
i agree, i luv the colours. and that skeletoll is really nice, i want a yellow one  :gimme:
Thanks, the 'Skellows' really grown on me.
Looking good badwolf. I find that type of bracelet harder than a normal cobra weave, well done.

Cord colour is Tiger camo from supply captain. Thet now do a panda camop too, I don't think any animals were harmed in making that cord?
Thanks, will give the cobra weave a go sometime.

Well I'm dumb and forgot to take pics of the six bracelets I made for gifts but the good news is all the recipients liked them very much, wearing them so far and most don't believe I made them! Hmm that's a long sentence.

Hi looking for a bit of advice with regards to paracord. Looking ot make a bracelet for my partner using two different colours and some beads. Any advice on which weave/method is best to make the bracelet quite flat as my current method has a tendecy to twist.

cheers in advance.

Paracord canteen cover, mostly done with basic square knotting/macrame knot work, with finishing up the bottom causing quite a bit of consternation, settling with some sewing to end it.  200+ feet of paracord used.  I may have to try a much smaller version for a pocket knife/multitool pouch, lol...   :D

Stormdrane can you dip the canteen in water and use the wet paracord to cool the canteen? Or will the paracord be ruined by water? Some old canteens were covered with canvas so if you made them wet the water evaporation would cool the water. Looks nice!

Evaporative cooling should work fine with the paracord cover over the canteen.  I've had no problems with other paracord knot work and getting them wet to facilitate the cooling effect in summertime, over the other water bottles that I've wrapped.

Using good 550 paracord, I've had no cord shrinkage problems, but using 450 or 650 type paracord, that has the loose fibrous inner strands, has the tendency so shrink, so pre-shrinking that type of paracord would be recommended before knotting with it.   ;)

This may have been shared before, but in case you haven't seen it and it's of use, this is a great way to tie a sinnet style bracelet which is quick release:

Cheers Ash. The braid was the easy part, it was the splicing that was hard to get my head around, I had to take my time with the eight cord splice.

The 4 cord braid with 8 cords is no differnt to ones you've made before if you think about it?, Just more cord!

So if making a paracord belt, how much cord do you need? So that no gets embarrassed, lets say how much cord per foot?

The orange and tan belt in the tutorial used ..........oh dear, I was about to look it up in my note book, but I can't find it!   :ahhh

Not to worry, I wrote it in the other thread, - 40 foot of Orange and 50 foot of Tan for a 52 inch waist belt.

But you will require longer for working with.

More of the same from me...4 ft and 3ft long

Two more 4 foot dog leads. These two are off tomorrow to K9 LEO's. It'll be nice to see how well the paracord holds up in use.
