Just finished a bracelet for my girlfriend - two color Blaze bar, with a D-shackle. Only the second time I've tried this one and I'm quite pleased with the result. Unfortunately, it's too small for her wrists and I wouldn't wear those colors, even if I got paid for that.
The Ripcord next to it, is currently my "primary" paracord-bracelet.

Do any of you know any more types of wide quick-deploy style bracelets, that doesn't require any type of shackle? I like the width of the Blaze bar, but haven't been able to either find nor come up with a way, to make it without the D-shackle...

Nice knot work, all, keep 'em coming!  8)

ABoK #802, a two-strand lanyard knot, tied with paracord on a Kershaw Burst, and a gaucho knot tied with 0.9mm cord around the end strands...

I wanted to spice it up a little so I added the red that you see on the handle, I took normal paracord and took the guts out, folded it flat, then folded it, as it was folded I stitched it to make it half the size. Next step made it into the JR shape by taking pins to keep it there. Then used invisible string to make sure it didn't go anywhere, lastly I got some red string and tried to keep it overtop of the black paracord, not the best but I think it looks good, sorry the pic sucks. Hi guys. I've heard talk about "fake paracord" (polyester cord?) shrinking, when getting wet and I've heard talk about boiling your paracord-bracelet, to shrink it, but I've never heard of paracord stretching before.

On the bracelet I'm wearing at the moment, I used to have about an inch of cord left, after the diamond knot and it fitted me nicely, when I made it. Today, I got too tired of it being too big and I shortened it up a bit. It fits good again, but now I have about 6 inches of leftover cord.

What do you guys think? Is it just the knots "settling in" or does paracord really stretch sometimes? AFAIK, it is proper 550 paracord.

I was considering that option as well, but in that case it would only be on my wrists; feels like I've gained weight everywhere else. :-P

Just a little West Country whipping, with 0.9mm cord, around the end strands of a paracord flashlight fob with a lanyard knot... :)

Nope, proper paracord being either nylon or polyester made, doesn't shrink.

I beg to differ; 550 Type-III Paracord is indeed made of Nylon.  Also if after you braid it, you soak it in hot water it will tighten the knots (as is shrink)._

Still wondering if I should just clip the cord or add something to the piece...  ::)

Here's my first try at paracord, I made a lanyard for my Spyderco Delica. I think this was called a box knot, and the only problem is that it can't be removed without cutting it off and I wish I had polished the pocket clip before adding it, as the lanyard hole goes through the clip. You can also see the file work I did on the lock bar.
