Ok, I'm done..
Made a few more passes then tightened it up and made a final pass to make it a little bigger, then glued the under half to make sure it wouldn't come undone! Then with the glue gun out I laid the chair down and put on only a couple passes on the back half to make sure that would stay put but not ever come off, the bottom half I just laid there, cause that's wood and the glue would rip it off, but I think it turned out kinda cute, what do you think?

So, I decided to do a little paracord wrap for the Skrama's sheath, and I think it came out quite nice...

(For those who missed my post about the Skrama, here's a link: https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,66266.msg1461983.html#msg1461983)

But wait, there is more... Added a Condor 4" MOD Strap and now I have a Molle compatible sheath for the Skrama :tu:

For some added security I first wrapped the strap onto the sheath with black electrical tape, and it seems to be quite secure now :)

Ok, I needed a new mat, I had a bad morning, the Mrs had her phone on her stand next to her side of the bed and for some reason this morning it was in direct contact with it and it was buzzzzzz, buzzzz, buzzzzzz, buzzzzz.. so the noise was freaking irritating and woke me! Errr(and yet she slept right through it!) so I made a little mat so the phone can lay on it and prevent the noise!
JR

Here's some pics, the phone is not fully on top just to give a size judgment. Kinda dumb to take a pic of just the phone no? lol, oh and I had plenty of green so I fig why not, then come to find out matches the cover on the phone, lol..

Not paracord, but about 10 meters of 8 mm climbing accessory cord.

Think it's more like gorilla's than monkey's fist  :D

(It's made of three nested monkey fist knots, so there's just a rope inside)

Thanks, hey it works, I haven't heard anything!

I like that gorilla fist, looks like the same size I used for my stool a little back.. and to think that's still probably not the original size for what they used it for back in the day..

It could, but I put it on to hang things on it, so if I leaned it into the corner then clipped the keys on or a bag, or just for looks? But it's there for function.. lol

Knot tying friend, Mabel Marble, dubs this knot #785A in her YouTube tutorial, as she was trying to tie #785 from 'The Ashley Book of Knots', but ended up with this instead, because the book has some errors in the drawn diagrams...

I tied this one with some dark green paracord, directly onto my Kershaw Emerson CQC-4K edc pocket knife.

New product.

UST is making what they call 1100 cord. It's very thick kernmante, with 14 core lines. Doubt it is really that strong, but could have some usages. I picked some up today when I saw it- I'd rather have Atwoods "battleline" (ugh on that name), but I can't find it retail. This stuff is bulky enough that it will limit it's usability, but for ridgelines and heavier lashings it looks promising.
