A very simple one this.  I keep hearing of folks using a belt hanger to carry their larger SAKs so I thought I'd mock something up to see if it was worth it.

A couple of lanyard knots later (and a bit of fiddling for length).

Also sized well to act as a wrist lanyard.

Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

I find it a good alternative to a belt pouch for larger SAKs.  Let us know how you get on with it  :tu:

I like a nice simple lanyard knot - it's kind of earthy, if you know what I mean

That's a good use of it too  :tu:

Tried doing some of this paracord stuff with online instruction but failed miserably. All over the place cord, fingers and thumbs, I'd have to have 1 to 1 instruction to get decent at it. Final effort - nothing like it.  >:(

Emailed deano about an order. Some nice stuff there mate.

Hi Paul

Its tough at the start learning the different stitches, but keep with it.  You do get better quickly...

I've attached a few I have made up for a few customer recently... no new sticthes, but I have used some new colours:

Thanks
deano

Nice work deano. Like deano said stick with it it will get easier. Go to you tube and do a paracord search that helped me a lot.

If you haven't cracked it by then, you could always come to the next UK meet-up. :pok:  Quite a few of folks can do a bit of tactical knitting, I'm sure there could be a lesson or two. :)

There's some nice knitting there.  I occasionally try but I'm very slow and frankly can't manage anything beyond the simplest of knots  :-\

Stormdrane,

I made a paracord bracelet off one of your tutorials and made a fine job for a beginner, but ruined it with over singing the ends.....

Stormdrane,

Instead of melting the ends, you might try tucking/pulling the end strands under the last couple of knots with a pair of hemostats or very thin needle nose pliers.  ;)
