It is very handy when you have to read important info - E330 - usually printed with very small letters on food products  8) When you hold it horizontally it is very comfortable to read.  :tu:

It seems to be a modern hybrid-replica - I bought it on sale (70% off) in the shop which sells items stylized on English colonial/victorian look (furniture, clocks, lamps, little sculptures etc.)

Bulky but I think that would make a good field magnifying glass, in it's closed position the handle could really protect the lens from a lot of abuse.
