Squirt ES4

I've been promising myself one of these for years as I'm endlessly stripping fine wires and, when I've no fullsize tool, the SOG Crossgrip on my keychain isn't really that nice to use.

I gotta say, i'm really impressed with the quality of it (1st squirt I've ever owned), it snaps into the open position and is very precise to use. I thought the size might be an issue for regular use, but it sits nice in my hand and the matt finish on the handles gives excellent grip so I think it'll get called upon quite often. Nice one LM  :tu:

A Radioshack marked E4 in good shape other than some pocket wear, and a PST II that looks like it was lightly used. Only real sign of wear is a little bit around the fish hook groove on the file.

I just got a skeletool CX after taking the Leatherman factory tour. so far I really like it. then again the skeletool has been one of my most used tools for a few years now so I'm not too surprised.

My Blast and Juice C2 arrived via Fed Ex today.  2 more cool toys for me to fondle.  The Blast came with what looks like a nice leather case with a snap closure.

I was at L.L. Bean in Freeport Maine tonight, and bought a LM Charge ALX while I was there.  What a sweet multi-tool, smooth, nice workmanship.  The grind on the knife blade is a little wobbly near the curve of the blade, but it is a very minor issue if one at all.  When the Rebar comes out, I hope I have enough money to buy one with all the multi-tools I have been buying as of late, LOL.

I've been looking for an original LM PST and have had no luck finding one. Today at a yard sale I come across an unused discontinued LM sideclip (cost me $10). This thing is nice!  My EDC is a LM Charge alx, which IMO is the best money can buy. But this sideclip is half the thickness and has less tools on it (12) but has everything I need. It's easier to carry in pocket then the charge and weighs a lot less.
My charge will be kept in my toolbox at work now and I'll carry my sideclip everyday along with my Benchmade auto Presidio.

The postman arrived today. I bought two LM's from e-bay last week and already here!

The pink one is for my girlfriend her keychain. There was a complemantairy led lenser keychain light in the package and I was supprised at how bright this little light is.

The squirt ES will be mine to play with. One thing I noticed is there are nog screws that can be tightened anymore....strange since I found some play on the pliers. Normally tightening the screws up solves this.....strange move by Leatherman

Nevertheless it's a solid made tool

My latest addition to my Leatherman collection is my Camo Fuse.  I found it on ebay and couldn't resist.  Seemed like a pretty good price for $39 (shipping included).  It came with a made in China nylon pouch that I will probably replace with a leather pouch when I get the chance.

I bought a Leatherman Squirt P4 a few weeks back and I immediately fell in love. I've used it a dozen times (at least) already, and it goes with me everywhere. I can't believe I waited this long to buy one. After handling the newer Squirt series, I have to say that I prefer the scales on the older ones and wish they hadn't been retired so soon. In fact, I went ahead and bought a second P4 just to make sure I've got a back-up for years to come. My wife likes it too, so now I'm on the prowl for a third so she has one for her purse!

PS  I bought the black one

I bought the Squirt P4 today (Blue).
I had a choice between the P4 and the PS4, so I chose the P4 because of the little awl.

I am EDC it no as a supplement to my ST300. Nice little tool.

After handling the PS4 scales, I much prefer those on the P4. Somehow, the PS4 feels "powdery" and kinda makes my skin crawl a bit.

I got two more in the mail today - my Wingman and Sidekick.  The Wingman came in a gift tin without a sheath, and the Sidekick came with a caribiner and some sort of leather bag/pouch.

Here is the Sidekick...

Agreed, the old smooth scales definitely felt better IMO.  Happily the 'powdery' feel of the PS4 scales is toned down after it's been bashed around on your keys for a little while. :)

I agree with you. Just a pity that Leatherman does not make it with stainless steel scales.
