So it was you  $202 was a bit rich for me with some laser etching and color printing on a standard PST. What is the date code on that piece?

Yes, it was me
Maybe you right about $202, but, if I remember correctly, MSRP in 2006 was ~$150, so overprice is not too much :P
In addition, "color printing" - it's 24K gold plated  8)
Date codes: 1004 1004

Got three new (to me) Leathermans yesterday. Second hand but in great condition. The most recent ones could pass for new.

I also discovered something interesting when I put them near the ones I already got:

So it's technically new due to LM warranty ;-)
I knew this was a possibility when I didn't check the "this is special to me- don't replace" box on the warranty form. My Charge Ti has been sent back, replaced with a TTi.

I am torn... happy to have a newer MT with an s30v blade and gut hook... but the saw feels thinner and flimsier and my loose opening plier head is now a stiff opening one. It's not gritty, just stiff.
I only bring this up because mostly all LMs I have purchased brand new are loose and free ... while the warranty replacements I have received (a couple) usually are stiff. Just an observation.

Any thoughts from anyone on the TTi... promise I'm not griping; I love it! Just want some input from the community :-)

Mine was stiff and gritty when I got it. So I cleaned it up. And after six months of very light use, it opens up smoothly  :tu:

Likewise on the "few new." I've purchased a BO Wave and  a Rebar; all my others were purchased elsewhere. The rebar for sure had smooth loose movement. Can't remember how the wave was out the box... actually my skele CX was new too and those were stiff... and my first LM was new; a wingman and those are a different story. So four NIB ones and many others used.
Just gonna work em in and get them well oiled and used.

I really mean that  :salute: I have no end of problems taking a good picture of a cutting edge
For all my pictures I tend to leave it on automatic and take 5 or so pictures varying the angle and messing with the lighting, sometimes works  :)

Absolutely! I just have fun focusing on a couple different spots and seeing what look it gives! It's a fun process. Options are good :-)
