Aw the virus stroke again... after seeing the price rise significantly on leathermans the last months , probably due to the import tax that was an answer on Trumps import tax, i snagged me a still relatively cheap Coyote OHT on amazon.de.

Though that sheath is made in US, it is cheaply made. It is nowhere near the quality or style of the lovely original Wave sheath.

Sadly the first original wave steath does not fit the current generation, so for the looks we have to do with whats available now.
Altough i have a new skinth mondo on the way, still like leather sheaths.

If you can find one at that price it's a no brainer, but I wouldn't recommend it at the full retail cost. Has good pliers and outside/locking main blade and a pocket clip. there are a few hot spots on the handles though and a couple are pretty sharp, especially near the main blade pivot/spine side,

checked a few more wally worlds, none had the clearance knives on display anymore, used that brickseek.com but wasnt accurate or the store employees moved them out of sight when they remodeled knife display case inventory, I read that this was done nationally but who knows. So I went back to the store closest to me and a nice lady who works there showed me some of the other clearance stuff was on top shelf of case and pushed to the rear. there was a wave for $21, Gerber MP450 for $9, Suspenion $7, an awesome fixed blade buck Mesa $11 and a few other nice deals. I'm not advocating rushing to the store as it seems like its hit or miss but if you're near one take a look.

checked a few more wally worlds, none had the clearance knives on display anymore, used that brickseek.com but wasnt accurate or the store employees moved them out of sight when they remodeled knife display case inventory, I read that this was done nationally but who knows. So I went back to the store closest to me and a nice lady who works there showed me some of the other clearance stuff was on top shelf of case and pushed to the rear. there was a wave for $21, Gerber MP450 for $9, Suspenion $7, an awesome fixed blade buck Mesa $11 and a few other nice deals. I'm not advocating rushing to the store as it seems like its hit or miss but if you're near one take a look.

Yes, I got them peacent, haven't seen crazy prices like that for 10 years when they were clearance LM surges for $25.  had sold my mp400 and suspension many years ago when I lost my job, so was happy to get a chance at owning again. a few I didn't grab, some gerber and sog folders that were meh and had 5cr steel but I might take another look

Just bought a Skeletool CX . Not totally sure of it’s role’ as yet , will probably get paired with a SAK , like a Huntsman .

Nice.  I like to pair mine with a SAK with scissors for sure.  A Huntsmans sounds like a nice pairing.  I enjoy my CX quite a lot hope you feel the same about yours.   :tu:
