Max 450 lumens using 14500... has an IP68 rating... and an anti-slip coating...

I dig lights that accept Lithium, Nickel Metal, and Alkalines.  I also really like how the light can be told what cell you are using in it.  I watched a good video review of this light when I was looking at headlamps.

Agree... ideal especially for survival situations... AA sized lights are so common, at least around this part of the world... battery runs out of juice, simply chuck in alkalines...

Its been great! I really like everything about it, except the sequence in which the modes come on and cycle. It is very bright for a AAA light as well. I love the glow ring they put inside the reflector. I can see owning a bunch of different flavors of the Worm. I actually just bought the Stainless Steel version to keep the green one company.  :D I also love my Lumintop Prince Mini. I am really enjoying the Lumintop brand thus far.  :tu:

These showed up today.  New version T10 which is brighter but the clip is eh.  A few other changes as well. The clicky is now rubber and the light is a tad shorter. 

Really loving the S1R. 

Headlamp will accept lithium cells and best of all it came with them.  I like that it only uses 2 rather than 3 like many headlamps.  Initial tests are its plenty bright and comfortable.

You made short work of that  :salute:

The build quality of Olight from the few I have is very good.  I like the S1A running Li cells.  I also very much like lights that arent picky about what cell it will run. 

I've looked at so many lights and the only one I think I still need to get is the Zebralight SC5.  I think at this point I've found the lights I'd trust in any situation.

Bought a Olight S1R as well.  :facepalm:


Got some Olight 14500 batteries for the S1A and was hoping they would work in the Zebralight's I have and the Mini Prince but they do not work in any of them.  They are longer than standard 14500's and appear to only work in Olights which is a complete bummer.  I get the Copper S1A tomorrow so they better work in there.  Lol.

My latest flashlight is the 2017 version Inova X1.  I power it using a Panasonic Eneloop Pro NiMH battery.
