I picked up a 115 coleman max for about 20.00 from walmart and its great but a bit on the large size, this e01 is awesome so far and i will probably see what else fenix have to offer as well.

If you can find one of the stainless steel R5 LD01's (from a limited run late last year, though they are still available on some sites), I highly recommend it.  The current control is nice.  The tinti is a little on the cool side, but for a pocket light, I love it (my mini review here).

For AA format, I recommend a Zebralight sc51.

Ultrafire(?) C3 SS, ordered during my bling phase.

3 modes; high, low, strobe, very sensitive rear button.
XR-E LED, $9.80 from eBay, works ok with 14500 and AA. More later.

Also shown in a picture with another SS torch (TF F25).

The last one I bought was a MiniMaglight LED ( gen 2 ) . I don't EDC it , it's my work loaner . For EDC I pretty much stick with 1xCR123's . ATM an old skool McLux III PD , and a Surefire E1B , with a Z68 tailcap ( so it tailstands ) .

On my wish list : a Surefire Fury , and an HDS of some type .

I've been reveling in the world of budget lights recently.

The Ultrafire HD2010 is a right little goer, and the Trustfire TR-J12 with an updated driver from KD is at the moment the cheapest way into 4000 lumens.

Not sure if this really qualifies, but I just got a couple of new Photon Freedom Micros.  A plain white one, and a red one, both with the 'covert' nose cones on them.

They'll accompany the two other 'night vision green' ones I have that I've used for star parties and meetings of our local astronomy club.  I'm going to try and do a comparison test of the red and NVG ones, and see how they stack up against one another.  Color vision, and visual perception are things I know quite a lot about, so I've got a pretty good idea of how to test them against each other.

Maybe I'll do a little review as a result.

I took it with me last night when I walked my dog and I am quite impressed. Honestly I was a bit concerned about the throw, but with the first press of the button I was impressed. Given i'm no flashlight expert (yet)  ;) I think it packs a punch. It honestly felt like a spotlight in my hand. I am really wanting the XML conversion Steve tipped me off too.  :ahhh I might get in trouble with it though.  :)

This one's not anodized like the ones in the pics, but is otherwise the same.

WOAH! I just read that. 2200 lumens. Sweet! Now if you put 3 of those SST 90s in one light that would be 6600 lumens? Mmmmmm retina burner
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?
