Ordinarily I don't feel right commenting on the validity of someone's opinions, but in this case you may want to give it it a bit more thought!   :pok:

Not much to choose from this year
1. Wingman for price point/value
2. Sidekick for adding mod options
3. Cable dawg for most absurd lack of bang for the most of your hard earned dollars.

4. Balance- best tease, and fake out of online distributors

I voted.  I'm still torn though, out of all of them I'm not really blown away at all.  I am really looking forward to the Rebar, it looks to be the best possible successor for the Blast and will definitely be the first new model I buy next year.

Maybe skip 2011 best of and make the Rebar best of 2011 & 2012 before it comes out? Sounds fine

I gotta say that I've not been blown away with this year's crop either. :-\  In fact the only one form the list I've got is the Style PS, and that was a gift.  Kudos to LM for making low price tools with the  Sidekick and Wingman, but I've been left a bit cold with the execution.  Credit to gerber for doing something as different as the Fit, it's really the only tool that's even slightly caught my eye and I think I'll be getting one at some point.

Had to go with Wingman/Sidekick. Really the selection of new tools this year was pretty dismal, so LM gets my vote for putting out something with great value/dollar, and not just a marketing gimmick.

Vote placed!Have to agree with the general feeling that there isnt a standout, but my votes went for the PS,the BG Compact(sue me,I like Clutches)and the MicroToolclip. All 3 are sensable, pocketable, sheeple friendly tools.Oh and I have and use all 3.

Amici,
I went with the Leatherman Style PS although I really really REALLY wanted to go with either Wingman or Sidekick, but after handling each along with the spotty reviews, I just couldn't. I guess I will continue to wait with baited breath for the REBAR to become available here or for Leatherman to offer a superbly crafted tool to equal the size of the Juice S2 with hopefully OHO ability.

Cheers,
Serge

I went with the Style PS. My Style CS got bumped out of my pocket by the Style PS I got for Christmas. I have not had a chance to use it much but I think I will like the pliers better than the scissors. Plus the Style PS has a small set of scissors. The only bad thing about my new Style PS is the tweezers are tough to get out so I swap the Tweezers from the CS into the PS. Problem solved.

I'd be all over the cable dawg if it didn't cost an arm and a leg! I could make so much use of every feature! I'm pretty choked they priced it like they did. If you (or anyone for that matter) ever finds one under $100 (re: unicorns) I would be MOST interested and grateful. didn't someone actually get one and post a negative review already?

Wow, I know I am new to this site but Swiss tech in my opinion is absolute garbage! I got
A multipack of Swiss tech junk for Christmas last year from Costco and 4 of the 5
Tools failed within the first 2-3 months! I was lucky it was from costco cause I returned them for
A compete refund! Just cause it has the word "Swiss" in it doesent make it a quality tool!
