@5hif7y

I have the SS version so I would get the BO myself. That was what I had planned to get myself but I found the SS at an unbelievable price so I got it.

Gareth it looks like you got the book of Lego star wars too. Oh I mean your kids too.

It could be that I was the one that picked it out for her.  Could be.

I got a Buck 110 with sheath, a Carhartt Jacket(had to return and reorder due to sizing), and a book entitled "Where Troy once Stood" by Iman J. Wilkins, all from my wife.  I have been searching for this book for years only to keep finding that it's too dang expensive and really hard to get.  She found a first edition for just under a hundo and got if for me.  I just spent a gift card i got as well to pick up new copies of the Iliad and Odyssey to go along with it.

I also got a gift card to home depot from the inlaws, a coffee maker from my folks, and a skil angle grinder from my uncle along with a set of black and decker screwdriver/drill bits and some ratcheting pliers.

A bunch of really thoughtful people in my family this year, it was a great Christmas.  Probably the best one yet.

I WANT THAT.

Where did you get it? I've never seen Camilus like that before. Is it a custom? How much if you don't mind me asking?

No custom mate  :D , Camillus made them not long before they went bust. Made from data boards that failed QC , which is why they do not have the normal 'posts' in them. Apparently the data board is as strong as G10. It cost $48us from a US Ebay seller, a bit pricey but I have wanted these Cyber knives for a LONG time, 'these' including the Cuda below  ::) :D :D :D.

The one I really want is the Cuda Cyberknife , I have bought this one

I have to wait on having it shipped from the US as Australian knife importation laws have just recently changed & there is a lot of uncertainty about what is a legal one handed opening knife  >:( >:(. Hopefully will know in a couple weeks. The Cuda Cyberknives come up occasionally on US ebay , the smaller one that you like, the CY2, I have not seen before(the seller I got mine from had only 2 I missed out on the first that went for sale).

The gifts that may interest people on here:

1) Outdoor Research PL 400 gloves.  Now I just need to research a god shell.

2) Vic New Soldier (not yet arrived)

3) Nikon 35mm f1.8g af-s dx prime lens (for me and the wife).

4) Merrell Barefoot Tough Gloves for work

5) Several Kindle books :)

All in all, it was a very good Christmas for useful stuff!

This isn't good. I saw the Timbuk2, started drooling a little, and I popped over to their website to look around.
Turns out that they are having a big smurfing year end sale.

Not my own pic, obviously, but my brother gave me a Wenger Swiss Business Tool. Very cool! I had never actually seen one in the flesh.

He wouldn't tell me where he found it though

I had that exact same one in my watch list on eBay and the day I decide to buy it the seller raised the price by $20 and removed Europe from his shipping options. I might have to search for one again. Lovely watch. :2tu:
