Wanted: Leatherman Style
on: December 11, 2011, 05:48:05 AM
Looking for a Leatherman Style to add to my EDC. I know many of you don't like the Style so I am hoping one of you would be willing to part with one.  :D

PM for pictures.

If I knew where the heck mine was I'd send it to you!  Still, they can be had for the cost of postage, so it's barely worth giving away!  :D

I'm sure Travis could probably do you a better deal than this, but I bought mine over the counter at Mountain Equipment Co Op:

http://www.mec.ca/AST/ShopMEC/HikingCamping/KnivesTools/MultiTools/PRD~5024-727/leatherman-style-multi-tool.jsp

Depending on how/where it was shipped it could cost up to $5-6 in shipping, so as I said, you could probably get a new one from a dealer on the 'net for pretty close to what it would cost me to give mine away.  Assuming of course I could find the thing- it never really did much for me.  Leatherman's attempt to make a Victorinox Classic is as much a failure as anyone else is likely to encounter trying to remake the Micra.   ::)
