Hmm, I'm sure something bigger and more badass than that has been in a horror movie.

I can't recall the movie title, but like all good horror movies it had monsters, a little girl, and an old man with a four (or more?) barreled shotgun.

It may have also had some kind of floating metal enemy.

I think the movie that you are thinking of is "HellRaiser" or one of the sequels.

Oooh, I remember that movie! Best thing about that shotgun was the incredibly low recoil it had even when firing off all four barrels at once! ;)

Yup them special no-recoil hollywood cartridges. My fav was Donald Pleasance playing the part of Dr.Loomis chasing Michael Myers. He always had sense enough to bring a gun along, though it didn't always do much.

actually the word yank is a corruption of the native Americans mispronunciation of the the French pronunciation of the word "english".

Anglaise, to Yangleeze, to yangeeze  etc, etc.

I'm thinking it might just be easier to go down the necromancy route, then I'll have my own army of the undead to do my killing for me :D

If you were looking for a close combat zombie fighting weapon... wouldn't you go to the guy that specializes in slicing dead, clothing wearing meat???

If you took all the intestines out of your body and stretched them end to end... you would die.

Longbow when I was starting out, then I progressed to recurve bows :), I don't really like compound bow's much, for one thing there not allowed to be used in UK field archery, your not aloud to hunt with them so the extra power is wasted really, plus I think the beauty of the bow lie's in its simplicity, so to my mind, once you start throwing technology at a bow you end up losing the spirit of it :)

No offense, but your govt sucks. I've never tried longbow, but have read a good deal about Howard Hill who was an advocate of that form. I used to  own a nice Bear recurve ,but it snapped on a hunting trip. I did visit the Fred Bear museum, which was quite fascinating, someday I want to go back. I had a compound bow,but gave it away when I gave up archery,my shoulder makes too many noises when I draw a bow.

Just out of curiousity,I do not want to start a political debate....What is the reasoning behind not allowing people the ability to hunt with a Compound Bow?I have not shot a bow in years,so I really cant say how far they have come since then.I never tried hunting with mine.I just never felt that confident in my abilities with one.Compound bows though are faster and flatter shooting,is it because of a percieved distance gain?,if there is one, maybe someone with a bit more experience can comment or and there. No offense meant, just curious.

Accept for in York where it is apparently legal (well it was a few years ago anyway) to kill someone as long as it was with a bow and arrow.

My guess to the reason compound bows may be outlawed some places/countries is their too easy to kill game with,
(with their power and range) so everybody would be killing game and their would be none left in the land.
So outlawing power weapons (guns, compounds, tanks) leaves more for the upper/rich class! correct me please if I am wrong  :P

I'd love to have a crate or two of these:
