Okay, So I've Realized Nearly Everything I Carry As An EDC Has Some Sort Of Color Scheme Or Theme To It.

I Have The Fire And Ash Set Up Which Is:
White/Red/Silver Altoids Box.
With 3 Silver Keyrings Inside.
Black Pen.
Black Flashlight - Black Extra Tail Clicky
Red Victorinox "Union Carbide" Classic.
Black And Grey Flint Fire Starter With Blaze Orange Lanyard.

My Key Set Up, Which Has A Retro Hippy Feeling To It:
Tie Dyed House Key
Bronze-Ish Mail Key
Silver U-Haul Key(Don't Ask)
All Of My Little Shopping Cards Which Are Blue Red Or Any Color Of The Rainbow.
Blue And Orange Camo Lanyard.
Blue Carabiner.
Blue Vic. "Union Carbide" Classic. With A Dark Stripe(Rainbow) And Blue Lanyard.

My Military Girl Set Up Which Is:
Black Nite-Ize S-Biner
Small Black Nite-Ize Biner
Black Vic. Classic/Little Photon Style Light.
OD Green And Coyote Tan Lanyard For Classic And Light.
OD Green Monkey Fist Keychain.
And A Little Black Kydex Sheath That Carries 2xAAA Batteries.

My Rainbow Girl Set Up:
Black Kershaw Leek With Rainbow Lanyard
Silver Alox Victorinox Cadet With Rainbow Lanyard
Techno Trash Victorinox Classic With Rainbow Belt Loop Lanyard.
Leatherman Squirt P4 Blue With A Blue Pill FOB.

And A Few Other Things, But I Always Seem To Have A Specific Theme And Even When I'm Not Matching Themes, They Still Match In One Way Or Another.  Whether It Be With The Other Tools Or What I'm Wearing Or So Many Other Things.

I have 2 EDC sets. My main one has no aesthetic theme, but it does have a practical theme of "two is one and one is none". Everything has a redundancy.

My 'dressed up' set is all shiny. Stainless Steel and Titanium. Minimal, no redundancy.

And Mvyrmnd I Agree With The Redundancy. And I'm Not Sure What My Dressed Up Set Is.

I Would Have To Say That If I Were To Dress Up, It Would Be All Black, Blue, Or Stainless Like Yours.

I Have To Say The Spyderco Grasshopper Will Probably Be My Dressy Knife, And A Nice SAK. And Then My Black Pen, Black Light, And Such.

No intentional, overarching theme, although a good prtion of my EDC is blue. Blueberry Fisher Bullet, blue Parker Jotter, sapphire Classic, blue bandana. My golden oldie Jansport is a steely blue, too. Can't quite describe the color, except to say it is a few shades lighter than my other blue gear, and that it kind of resembles the iridescent  blue-grey color found on cars, if fabric form. Clear sky, just shy of sun up kind of blue. I like it quite a bit, and has been promoted from college book carry, to travel companion, to a brief stint as munchkin container, to work/computer bag during it's long life of service.

The remainder of my toys, my Fenix E01 (I think, the small AAA one) and my G-Shock are black, and my cell's a dark grey.

Yeah I've Been Wanting A Blueberry Fisher Bullet So Bad. So I Think I'm Going To Try And Pick Out A New EDC Set Up And Then Try To Make The Money To Get It.

I like the Blueberry color. The coating hasn't chipped at all in the 3 or 4 years I've had the pen. I've been toying with the idea of an orange-themed EDC, my other favorite color. Need to find a burnt or autumn orange Classic, AAA light, bandana, and pen. Stubborn hobby gets too expensive, so we'll see if it materializes.

My Minimalist/Classy/Going Out EDC


Most of my regular EDC (sans pen, sunglasses and the iPhone 4S I used the take the pic)


Two Multi's, two blades (I think the S30V blade on the Charge counts as a full blade) two torches. There's an extra pen in my work bag or day pack depending on what day of the week it is. iPhone counts as a extra watch. I have a GPS in my daypack to backup the iPhone. GPS, iPhone and watch all have a compass. There's another full size torch in the day pack, along with solar charger and backup battery than can charge any of the torch batteries or the iPhone. Peanut lighter on the keyring, fire striker in the day pack. Whistle on the keyring, another 120dB twin chamber peanutless in the daypack.

Crosslinked redundancy as far as the eye can see (There's a whole bunch more stuff in the day pack, but I couldn't be bothered typing it all in at the moment. I might post a bag dump one day).

I've got no theme in my carry. My lil sister on the other hand, has everything blue. (I give her everything she has).
Blue: LM Juice CS4, Fenix E01, Delica4FFG, Atwood, Ladybug.

Soon she will be getting a blue pen and Endura.

Its a fun way for me to get her into this stuff.
