Black Sidekick & Wingman Tools!!

Has anyone seen the black SK and WM tools yet..... well they're in stock where I live

Look at the pic and find them.... it's not a glare ( you can see the contrast if you compare the handles to the screw)

ive had a look around and they dont seem to be in the UK yet. are they BO or just black painted? i think i like them as SS because of the polished finish on them they look nice.

cant wait for some close up pics though. nice find btw. you should totaly be the first here to get one

Mountain Equipment Coop has a decent selection of Leatherman and Victorinox tools. Canadian Tire has some Leatherman, Gerber and cheaper brands like Coast, and Halifax Seed Co has some Leatherman stuff too.

Oh, and the Trail Shop on Quinpool. I don't think TAO has much, and if you really want to spend way too much money, there's House of Knives/Things Engraved/Personally Yours at HSC.

I prefer to buy them online though as they are almost always cheaper, even counting in shipping.

Painted or not, the black is always more appealing to me personally.

I'll have to pick one up. I have the sidekick now, and it's the absolutely most amazing tool that leatherman has made. I truly have carried the thing everyday since I bought it in November.

I would however be way more interested in the wingman if the blade was not partially serrated.

Ya we need more pics, its hard to tell if it's black or not. Wouldnt black increase the manufacture cost for these budget tools?

True...but then again, Leatheraman has BOed most of their lineup in the past. I would not be all that surprised to see the Wingman and Sidekick given the BO treatment. If anyone does find these tools with a BO surface, please tell me how to get them. Those would be must have items for me.

It was just a flippin' glare...... CRAP!!!!
My friend that sent me the pic told me the handles were black after I asked him.

The entire conversation:

Me: "Does the Sidekick in the pic have black handles???"

Him: "It sure does!"

I took his word for it, but after seeing it in person, it WAS ONLY A GLARE.
I believed he confused the Sidekick with the Skeletool CX in the pic.... who knows
