What's the black doofer with the split ring on it? Doesn't look like we've got any earth shattering developments from Vic this year (unless Def is holding something back  :P )

Nice, but not the excitement of some of the other stands

A little from both columns- I do have something held back, and here it is!  :D

Also, Vic doesn't have anything exciting to announce yet but there is something pretty cool on the horizon that I saw that I am unfortunately not yet allowed to talk about as it's still in the early stages.  I made a few comments that will hopefully help refine the design as whatever it was did seem pretty clunky at the time.

I can also say that it' something that many people have been wanting for years from Victorinox, and while it may be interesting for everyone to read about and look at, it may not appeal to everyone.

+1  Though the fact that "it may not appeal to everyone" kinda has me feeling iffy.  If it's Juice-sized, it'd definitely be interesting; Squirt-sized, I'd imagine it'd cut into their regular SAK-sales a bit.  With that said, it seems like everyone is jumping in on the Leatherman Squirt Ps4/Gerber Dime boat, so might as well have a Victorinox along the same trend. :D

I dont suppose it would be alox pioneers + scissors, cause that would sell like wildfire... Whatever it is, if it's an MT I'm in.

Ooh, I didn't think about that.  Or if they brought back 84mm scissors and revamped their 84mm line to include more smaller-brothers to the 91mm line, like bringing back the saw, file, et cetera, ad infinitum. :pok:

All they need to do is make a spacer to hold up the cutting end at the right height and they can use blade/awl backsprings. But that would take too much work away from the modders so I hope they don't figure it out. You hear me Victorinox? No more innovations! We got this! Just bring back the Scientist so we can get cheap Phillips drivers and magnifiers and carry on.

Oh, hell yes to both of those! A Pioneer with scissors would never leave my pocket! Then again, neither would an 84mm Super Tinker or the like...I'd need more pockets! Mod time!

(Image removed from quote.)

This looks like the Hunter XT, but are those Tan/Black scales that are making it special or just the lighting on the regular scales?

1- Not a SwissChamp.

2- Not special scales, those are the standard Soldier typs scales.

I'd be more than happy if they found a way to fit (in this order) an OHO blade, ruler, regular square phillips driver (allowing us to use off-the-shelf 1/4'' bit drivers with it), and removable pocket clip into the Spirits... :pok:
