I'm just going over these pictures again.

For those of you who've handled the Rebar (and ST300), it appears to me that the pliers jaws are more "substantial".  One of my complaints about needlenose MT's is that the jaws distort when twisting with them.  These look like they'll withstand that sort of work much better.

True or wishful thinking?

I would hope so, since the Rebar name itself implies twisting metal support strands.  I have some worry that the holes for screwing the wire cutters could be a stress break point however... especially in the smaller plier head of the Rebar.
