Oh and this Ti 91 went together today.   The customer wanted a tumbled matte aged look so no polished Ti or brass on this one, which is my usual finish.

Super tinker with no hook, brass inlay for old cross and brass capped tweezers.

Very nice.  :drool:  How do you get the brass into the cross opening?  Do you rough it out as a close fit and and use a peen hammer?

Yep.  Scribe a + shape on a hunk of brass then carefully shape until its still bit over size, then press in place with bench vice.  I peen from both sides to it squishes out to fill the entire void, then sand flush.

So nobody can post in this thread until Syph puts up pictures of my custom.

The anticipation is to much an it doesn't help when I see this thread come up on the new replies list.

Harley's won't be up till tomorrow, but that is not far away....   :whistle:

Have a look at this polished brass beauty in the meantime.  Inlaid brass cross, brass liners and brass capped tweezers.  Custom tool selection as well with serrated/plain main blades.  Lots of hours went into this sucker but Im very very happy with it.  Lots of awesome in 3 layers.

I took almost 300 pics trying to get just the right angles on this.

Have a look at this polished brass beauty in the meantime.  Inlaid brass cross, brass liners and brass capped tweezers.  Custom tool selection as well with serrated/plain main blades.  Lots of hours went into this sucker but Im very very happy with it.  Lots of awesome in 3 layers.
