Syph, are your 91 Ti and Alox customs thinner than the original models? If so, how much thinner?

Yes they are thinner.  I measured a standard super tinker and my Ti converted one and its 0.120" thinner.  That's about the thickness of a pliers layer.  Its noticeable for sure.

So a Deluxe Tinker will be as thin as a Super Tinker and a Craftsman as a Ranger! Amazing!

I have been building mostly standard models the last week, super tinkers and such so I havent posted all of them.

This one though is pretty far from being standard. :D  One wrench cutout is for metric, the other imperial.

Yes, that black alox scale with polished brass liners stands out.

Syph, do you have any "skeletized" concepts in Ti scales cooking? I'd like a Ti-scaled SAK with as much metal removed from the scales that would still be stiff and strong enough for EDC. (Along the lines of those stepped scales you make for fastener removal, but more smooth and graceful). Any ideas on how that would turn out?

Yes I designed some skeletonized scales for that exact reason.  The best way to make a light SAK though is to not have the steel backsprings... But how to have a slipjoint knife without backsprings?  Ive got a few ideas.  :D

My mill is finally scheduled for deliver to my house tomorrow at 9 am :D

These are both Ti compacts with phillips and awl on back side.  The hottest 2 layer now, Ive got orders for 6 in the queue.

I was just happy the truck driver was able to park the pallet in my garage otherwise I would have had no way to move it.

Its going in my laudry room so I have to make a work area first, then start the setup.  But at least its finally here!

Well this will allow me to make some lower cost scales that alot of people ask for as well (G10 press ons).  As well as do more custom work and finally I can engrave with this as it will do 10,000 rpm spindle speed.  My current manual mill is only 2000
