And a new Challenge project to have a brass inlaid fish bone emblem based on a picture of a cuff link provided by the customer.

I machined half way through the scale to make the pockets.

And then cut some brass pieces to fit.

And then eased them on in and sanded flush.  It's going into the tumbler next.   :tu:

And here is the final result for the fisherman project.  Very happy with how it turned out!

I have been hording some new old stock main blades before they started making them thinner, and I thought this model deserved a full old blade with the crossbow symbol on it, so I used one :D

:D

Funny, I made a similar one last week but was out of flat liners so had to go with the thinner blade.

Ya I tried hammering one of those flat once and that doesn't work.  Best option is to take a front liner and cutout the corkscrew part.  That should work.

I know the electrician blade can be used in place of small blade on a 91mm, but Ive never actually tried the pruner blade.  Someone asked if it could be done so I had to try.  Turns out it fits fine.  I do make the liner spacer 0.010" thinner in cases like this so everything lines up nice, but other than that no issues at all.
