I know the electrician blade can be used in place of small blade on a 91mm, but Ive never actually tried the pruner blade.  Someone asked if it could be done so I had to try.  Turns out it fits fine.  I do make the liner spacer 0.010" thinner in cases like this so everything lines up nice, but other than that no issues at all.

Tinker Pruner ?

Great to see, I'm amongst the people who asked and that looks awesome!

Don't forget the nail file in place of the small blade. Absolutely beautiful work! Someone is going to be a very happy owner of that beauty.

Textured front and smooth back on this with engraving on both.  I like it when people ask for something non standard as its something different to build.  :D

Good idea to look at it on a better screen... one of those is going to me. I'm even more excited than I already was.

It feels expensive to me to buy an electrician just to get the eblade for a 91mm mod, but the customer is always right.  :D  It is a great blade though.

It is a great blade though.

Well I always preferred the nailfile opposite the main blade.
But this would also be a great option and much better than a second drop point blade - IMHO
- Even a plain sheepsfoot would be better!!
Please consider this Vic  ;)  :tu:

Syph (and/or his customers - ie your customers) are coming up with options better than the 'standards'

How do you get the nail cleaning tool to sit high enough to access the nail nick? I want to try making a climber with the nail tool but supposedly it won't work with standard springs.

If I recall correctly, the answer is "by altering the backspring"

Any chance the "alterations" can be performed without special tools?

Actually I think Syph (I may be wrong about this) makes his own backsprings for this

Nope it's the stock blade spring but it needs extra bends in 2 places.  Rubber mallet and vice with Al jaw inserts is what I use.

About 3/4 inch from end viewsed from top bend down about 15 degrees.  That gives the angle when closed the right amount.  This reduces the snap force though so you have to bend in the other direction about the middle of the spring.  Oh it also has to be shortened a few mm od the na file won't open all the way and will sit at a weird angle.

If I'm interpreting this correctly the edits you mentioned look roughly like this

With the end result looking something like this?
