Hey Syph, do you mind if I use your solution to make a 84 mm pair of scissors out of a 91 mm one?

Hey Robert, I am not sure if I have asked this before, but could you do Leatherman Charge scales? I imagine you can.

Oh sure that wouldn't be too hard.  They're basically slabs so pretty straight forward machining.

How about scales with drawers?  :o
Two drawers on one side, to keep it slim, although one could go for four drawers, for maximum items.
Victorinox scale tools in one, toothpick, tweezers, pen.
Fishing kit, sewing kit, tiny ferro rods, floss, lockpicks. The possibilities are endless!

Wanted to check with you if you're fine with me borrowing your idea to add a pair of scissors to my cadet via your approach with 91 mm spring and scissors.

Ok !. My current project is to make a sak looking like a favorite non sak knife with wooden scales so I'm not doing the cadet atm.

To be honest, all multiple iterations of that knife going from five layer whittler mod with saw, back to cadet again has left me a bit dead tired of sanding down 2,5 mm to 2,25 mm pins so I'm not overly eager to jump on to that project just yet

Shortening and re fitting a pair of  91 mm scissors should be doable if I plan enough but it really is borderline on what I can do with my tools.

Whoa check out the glamor photo of my donation knife!
Wow amazing photo - It's just one knife right? And he's photo shopped three images together?   ???

Great to credit the photographer in the pic but they should credit the knife maker too :pok: (I guess that is elsewhere in the article!) As the knife is just fabulous - So dramatic, good looking and appealing. The blue, 'black', 'gold', and 'silver' go so well together

Hey Syph - Can you remind us what the donation thing is please. Seem to remember it was another knife forum/''marketing' for you - Right?
