Hi Syph i was looking for new scales for my SAK and ended up here (through google) and saw the most beautiful things.
Now it would be a total waste to put such nice scales on my old beat up spartan so i will be buying a plastic pair for my knive.
But i have a question or a remark, why do you still use the plastic little screwdriver with your all titanium and brons knives. You make the tweezer and magnifier in metal  and then leave the
little screwdriver in plastic. would it not be much nicer if that was metal too. Is it because your mil has no 4th axis?. Maybe you can do something with the second drawing i posted.
It is a triangular screwdriver handle that can be machined on three sides where you machine the pitch on three sides. So you don't need a 4th axis.

That looks awesome.
But isn't it reversed? A mirror image?
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

Im doing a flat version that fits in the fold out drawer I make.  Machining that shape spiral would be a nightmare with no 4th axis.  Work holding for that on my standard 3 axis would be annoying.

Are there any saks with the drawer and the in-line awl?
You'd have to open the awl to then open the drawer, but that's not too much of a hassle.

That's why I put the drawer on front scale for 93s

I am also wondering if the tweezers and toothpick can be stacked one on top of the other, to fit in the drawer, so you could also fit the tiny pen and a tiny ferro rod.

Yes actually that does work if I shorten the toothpick just a touch more.

Not too much new on the modding front, just lots of 93mm drawer saks mostly.  I did do a series of spartans for a local winery.  https://www.rosewoodwine.com/  The bee symbol is their logo.

Looks like a his and hers pair - Wonderful

I've said this before but your SAKs are works of art sir
Almost too beautiful to carry. But who'd not want to pull one of those out of your pocket
And as they are so tough - the only concern is losing them!

I know Vic know of your work - I hope they are as proud of it as we are!

Is that a main blade backspring you're using for the electrician+pruner blades layer?

Last question:
Did you get good spring tension on both blades without any modification?

I guess I keep forgetting about the difference between working with precision tools and mods like the ones I've done so far...
I need to point out that I only mod for my personal use, and would very much like to improve myself whenever possible. That being said, I have yet one more question, a request, let's say... Can you share the position for each of the 2 blades against the backspring, as it isn't symmetrical?

Do you mean the offset?  Each side needs a 0.040" spacer on different sides but that becomes very obvious if you try to out them together as each is bent.
