So Is Anyone Else Hooked?

It truly is an addiction, I believe.  One reaches a point where it is no longer about blade steel or scales or ergonomics.  Its about temporarily applying balm to emotional pain via the anesthetic of a new knife purchase.  Some folks do it with alcohol or drugs, and others with a bass boat and golf clubs.  For me, its knives, MTs, flashlights and guns.  I hoard them all.  I also love them, use them and EDC them, so there is some practicality to the madness.  But I really don't need dozens of MTs or folders or other toys.  :)

Nice. Really Like That Turbulence.
Kershaws Are Nice Knives.

Check Out The Rake Composite Blade And Junkyard Dog II Maybe Even The Leek.
All Really Good Knives. The Tremor Is Nice As Well. I've Owned A Lot Of Kershaws.
Skyline Is Good Too.

Also Other Brands You Should Check:
Spyderco
Benchmade
Chris Reeve - If You Can Afford It
Strider - If You Can Afford It
Buck - Some Of Them Are Nice
Cold Steel - Only A Few Appeal To Me But You May Like Them
SOG - Especially The Twitch And Trident.
Ka-Bar
CRKT

Really There Are a Lot.
I Also Have A Ton Of Stuff Up For Trade If You Have Anything To Trade.

Thanks. I'm really falling for Kershaw knives. I really love flippers, but can't import them, so a grab what few I can. The Turbulence is nice, but I always find myself reaching for the OSO Sweet. It really is a great little knife.

Your list is good advice. I just can't bring myself to like Spyderco's styling though :(
Just don't say fecal coagulation.  :twak: - Mr. Whippy

Lol Wait Until You Own A Spyderco!!! I Didn't Like Them At First Either. And Then I Owned One... And Then Two... And Then Three... And Then Four... And It Goes On And On!

And As For The Spyderco Bob Lum Chinese... I've Never Owned One But Have Had The Chance To Handle And Fondle One And I LOVE IT! I Just Haven't Got The Chance To Own One Yet.

What Jessie said about Spyderco is dead on. They look goofy and ugly and awkward. Until you use one, then they are perfect.

I have a Spyderco Lum in Ti, and its nice. Can't say too much about it other than that since I've never used it.

Yes, I had a Tenacious and Delica 4 frn, sold both of them...

Now I have a Spin, Jester and Bug... But then again...

I'm into rare and discontinued (not that I have funds for anything exclusive) items and knives.... One off, handmade... When I look at some manufacturer sites I go    all ove keyboard...  :D :D :pok: :pok:

I just love Shilin folder, but they are much harder to get, and Bob Lum Chinese is just that looking...

They Are Just Really Amazing Knives.

And I Got You On Rare And Discontinued Knives.. But The Sad Thing About That Is That Sometimes It Makes Me Not Want To Use Them.

I Have Two But Don't Believe I'll Have Any Issue Using Them, But Really I'm Looking To Trade The Pride I Have As It's Just Beautiful! And I Don't Want To Mess It Up. Is That Bad? It Has Custom Scales.

As For My Dragonfly SS In ATS-55 I Just Don't Think I Can Get Rid Of It Lol.

Alright, since we're sharing personal secrets and this is a sympathetic therapy group, I will now admit that where some people would apply a bandaid to a boo-boo, I apply a knife.

Wouldn't that just make the boo-boo bigger?

Bingo. I broke a rib recently, and instead of other treatment, I applied my new Benchmade Warn 587-1 to the area. Instead of 6 weeks, it seems to have healed in less than 3. Try it, you'll like it.

Hehe, I'll have to try that. If it works, of course, that'll mean that I'll banging myself up pretty good to get some new toys..........

While most treatments have negative side-effects, this one is highly desireable!

Glad to hear that you got yourself a para2. Its a good knife, I'm sure you will enjoy it. The compression lock takes a bit of practice but its pretty close to the operation of an axis lock.

Thanks, And Yeah I'm Already Used To It. I Don't Know Why People Complain About It, It's Simple.
I Was Expecting It To Be A Pain In The Ass.
I Still Want More Knives Lol.

Well that's the thing about knives, the more you have , the more you want. I have yet to carry most of the ones I have, and I still keep getting more.  :climber:

I think the problem is that I have been working way too much lately. I try not to take most of the nicer blades to work.

Ah Well, I Have To Say The Two Nicest I Have Are My Customized Spyderco Pride, And My Para2.

And Well.. I Was Going To Trade The Para2 For Something With A Wider Blade... But I'm Pretty Sure I Changed My Mind.

So I Sharpened It To Give It That Scary Sharp Polished Edge I Put On All Of My Knives, Switched The Pocket Clip To Tip Up Carry, That Way The Lanyard Will Stick Out Of My Pocket And This Is Just What I Prefer. And Tied A Nice OD Green(To Match The Camo) Hangman's Noose(Chris Reeve) Lanyard With One Of My Amazing Emerson Beads On It.

So I Would Say It's Officially Been Claimed. Lol.
