It doesn't appeal to me. I don't like the mod spacing, the 0,24 lumens low low is fancy, but I'd like at least a mid of 3-4 lumens. To me it looks like a copy of the DQG tiny ver. 2. Just with less knurling, and I don't think that's a good thing.  >:( How are you going to operate the small flashlight one handed with that slippery body? ???   I know Francis has a DQG ver2, I only have the original version.

A lot of flashaholics seem to have been calling for a light with a super low mode, so I'm thinking this is in response to customer demand.  I wonder if this is this the E01 'Killer' that was being talked about last year? :think:

Nor I really, it's just this if the first new AAA they've done since announcing the 'Killer' idea AFAIK.  The 1.5 hour run time for 25 lumen really isn't all that inspiring either.  I can see the super low working for some folks, but this isn't a light for me I think.

I love 4sevens and love my arsenal of lights.  But the lack of knurling on this one is a deal breaker for me.  Its a prob I have with all of Preons, though I do own a couple.  Plus, the light looks like some guy made it on a lathe in his basement.

I'll stick with the E01, which is an awesome light at half the price, good knurling, flat output for 11 hours or so, followed by another 10 hours of diminishing moon mode.  JMO. :)

I am not jumping for this one either. I have read the 4Sevens lights have problems with holding up & some of them have a green tint which might annoy some people. The E05 has 3 hours run time at 27 lumens compared to a ghastly 1.5 hours at 25 lumens for this model. Not a step forward IMO.

Certainly not for me.

Mode 1 = utterly pointless
Mode 2 = not bright enough to bother carrying for a AAA sized light

This.  In spades.  Plus, the runtimes are sorta pathetic.  At 25 lumens, I'd expect at LEAST 2.5 hours and would hope for 4 or 5. (If it were "advanced")

I guess you could shave some length off a regular AAA light but it's kinda pointless, it's the thickness that matters and the couple mm of length difference is negligible. I also think 0.xx lumen modes are useless, but I guess some people want it.

I think the preon revo is good enough, or the old fenix l0d if they would use the proper lo-mid-hi sequence.

Just seen a beam shot on another site! It is a pretty very pale blue beam. Not really bad IMO. I read 4Sevens lights have other problems though. I will wait until the Jury comes back in before ordering one.

IMO 4sevens needs to bring his prices down, he charges too much for pretty much everything.
