Victorinox Store Tomorrow

Well I was looking on vics site for a store locator near me and found one an hour away. I called the store to make sure they were and they confirmed yes and if it wasn't in stock they would order it. Well I ask my roomy to take me as I can't follow directions well ( take the red road till you see the green road kinda thing :D) so I'm broke and don't have no money but I get to go tomorrow. I can't wait. I'm so excited. Would be funnier if I had money but I guess it will still be fun to drool. :drool:

If they will allow me I'll take a few photos. Who don't like knife porn?

Which reminds me. I was there a couple of weeks ago, they are moving to a new location a block away. They will be getting their stock anew after the move. Hopefully then they will have the On The Road series.

Most stores here in Jax FL just don't seem to carry Vic SAKs  ::)   Should I assume they charge MSRP or is there a slither of discount in a Vic store?

Can't wait to see the photos. I do not believe there are any Victorinox stores anywhere near where I am. That could be a nice thing, as I have no doubt that I would have a lot more than I currently have if I could point and buy on the spot.

there are a couple knife stores in town that proport to be official stores, they have nice displays including those massive plastic motorized knives in the window...

Lucky you. When I typed my city in there a year ago, only two  local shops showed up, and they were both puzzled about the free advertizing they are getting from Victorinox when I inquired. :(

Apparently there are 5 here too, one of them is a watch shop that I didn't know stocked Vic stuff.  I'll need to go check it out next time I'm in that part of town.

Well here is all they had. I still drooled a little on myself.  :D



After talking with my roomy she loaned me the money to buy the following.  :drool: It has soft rubbery handles. :D









When I get the money I'm going back to get that huntsman.  :drool: Its a little more then on the internet but I like being able to touch it and pick my exact knife. They sell everything at suggested retail so basically full price.  :rant:

Anyway I had a great time today.  :tu:

Not sure if it counts, but I've been to the one in Woodbury NY. Quite underwhelming to be honest, okay selection of SAK with insane price tag, lots of luggages also with insane price tag, and staff who are mostly interested in chatting with one another.

Might be in NYC again later this year, but the store there is outside Manhattan so will be difficult to reach.

I recently visited the one in Paris which was awesome :)

Its a leather store that sells some victorinox. They are a dealer. Everything is full MSRP though.

The main dealer is a 3 minute drive from me. (LM, Gerber is 10, Wenger also 5...)

Unfortunately they know me well....   :D

Well my roomy and I went to the vic store today. She bought a green transparent classic and I bought a white one. She is a graduate of Marshall University so we decided to make Marshall saks as she is a huge fan. Here is a photo of mine. I have a white front scale and green back one. She has green front and white back. Enough talking here's a pic.

I haven't been to a real one since July. There's one in my town but it only stocks about 10 models. In Zagreb (about an hour drive) there is a VIC representative store (they have a repair servise too) and stock about 50-60 different models. +Spyderco's, Cold Steels, Opinels,...
