TTi mods
on: February 03, 2012, 01:40:47 PM
I have only just joined so forgive me if there is one already, But I was looking for a list of all the mods done to the leatherman tti/surge suitable mods.

I have found a couple so far but they all seem to be buried in different places.

I have had my leatherman for a while now but never really got any mods done.
So I would like to know what (proven) options are out there for me to look at.

Thanks for any help...
BTW you guys do some amazing work.

You'd have more luck listing what you want...

I know I have modded a lot of waves and Charges, so what are you looking for?

I am just looking to see what my options are really, though I am not willing to take it apart just yet, so any add ons and extras mainly, THough I have seen the chisel awl mod page already.

New to the site, looks interesting...
I submit for your consideration
http://www.instructables.com/id/Leatherman-Scalpel-handle/
I replaced the small screwdriver with a scalpel handle, allowing small, sharp, interchangeable blades.  As this was my first hack attempt, I was unfortunately a little indelicate with my baby, and broke a slab.

Pictures of most of my work can be found on my Facebook Page.
Also have a look at my Shapeways Shop and SW Torch Shop for 3D printed items.

I added a shim to the large bit driver to press a standard xacto blade. It's in there pretty good and pulls out if needed.

Oh no my friend, there are plenty of full theme tool mods. They are all in the Mod squad scattered.
