New Cook Set
on: February 26, 2012, 02:52:27 AM
I saw this cook set for sale online but didn't see any reviews or relevant pictures. I decided to buy it since it was pretty cheap.  I figured I'd post some pictures.  It is stainless steel made by olicamp. The pot holds 1 quart and the lid which doubles as a fry pan has a 5.5 inch diameter. I won't have time to try it outside for awhile but made dinner tonight with it.  The set seems pretty durable and had plenty of size to cook.  the inside is not polished so food stuck even with butter and a small amount of charcoal / soot residue remained after cleaning.  The set is pictured with a space saver cup and a nalgene bottle for size comparison.

Looks like a decent set nonetheless.  I have to get a small set like that for the summer.

I've heard titanium pots can crack from the heat of a fire sometimes..but other than that I think I might try a titanium set like snow peak 900 out.
