new version Energizer 1AA flashlight upgraded to 50 lumens
on:
February 16, 2012, 06:01:53 PM
I noticed while shopping at Target that the 1AA Energizer LED flashlight has been upgraded from 37 to 50 lumens. The finish on the new light appears matte instead of shiny black, though that may have been an effect created by the packaging.
Has anyone tried the new 50 lumen version?
Here is a photo of my older version Energizer with the clip reversed. The hot spot on my light is small and I hope the new version has a wider hot spot.

It might be good & it might not. I will have to see beam shots first to decide. If they have a lifetime warranty like RayOVac flashlights it might be a good deal IMO. 50 lumen is about right for a general purpose light IMO.
