What does a furless bear look like?

I really like hiking but if I ever run across this I will strongly consider giving it up.  :sa: :dwts:

I wonder if they have got any closer to figuring out the cause yet?

In the German "Bild" it was said that it was most probably a genetic defect that caused it and that it got triggered by stress of a power struggle between the bears. But that's the original article from 2009 and i couldn't find anything more recent about them.

I can honestly say I've never watched him before, but that was crazy!  I may start watching his show now.  Even IF he had an RV off camera in case he couldn't warm himself back up, that was ballsy.  Props dude, props.

I don't know why they had to blur his middle region- I know if I was to have tried that all my goodie bits would have been sucked up into my anatomy, possible to never be seen again.   :ahhh

Maybe, or maybe the ice wasn't thick enough there.  The only thing worse than falling in that water is getting trapped under the ice in that water, and I don't blame him for not taking that chance.

I took a swim in ice water once, about fifteen years ago and it was not pleasant.  Fortunately I wasn't too far from home and I managed to warm up afterwards.  Another time I was out in the freezing rain for about twelve hours, not moving and standing right in a wind channel and my clothes literally froze to my flesh.  I couldn't grab the stick to shift gears in my old VW on the ride home and had to try and hook it with my wrist.  I sat in a lukewarm bath for about an hour when I got home- fully dressed, boots on and everything before I could take any of it off, both because my clothes were attached to me and because it took that long before I could bend my fingers again.

Cold weather is not something to mess with, and certainly not when cold becomes cold and wet.

I watched a show the other day and it was talking to his team of guys and one of them said it did effect his manhood  :D so i agree Def they didnt need to blur it out  :D although it still gives me the shivers to watch  :ahhh i have to say though i prefer ray mears than bear, but all entertaining  :tu:
