Question about ads

I've been using tapatalk so much lately I had forgotten about them.  Remind me again how are the ads at the top and bottom of the forum page selected again?

There was one that interested me and I was just curious how it got there.

As I understand it, it's automatically generating it's own keywords based on what seems to be common on the page, then selects something appropriate for the discussion and your location.  You should see ads that are relevant to you, and in some cases you may be the only one that see's them.

If you (or anyone else) see any ads that don't seem right, please let me know what the ad is (who it's for and the domain if possible) and I'll see about having it removed.

No worries, it was an ad for a local store owned by my brothers and I couldn't remember if it was like you said tailored based on the individual logging in or not.

Don't click on those ads if you see them- it makes the forum a bit of money but costs your brothers a bit.  Unless you don't like your brothers, in which case click away!   >:D
