No I wasn't in it, it was parked out back.
I was out watching a storm roll in, then went in to unplug the PC's.
Ten minutes later I went back out to find the neighbor's tree on it.

I had a lot of places to put the rebar, so I couldn't pass it up.   :)

It could have been worse, it also took out the neighbors pool. If I hadn't gone back inside for a few minutes, 24,000 gallons of water would have washed me under the truck. That might have hurt an old man a bit.  I was being looked after that night.

Other than the fact the front suspension was bottomed out, the alternator bracket was sticking thru the hood, valve cover was broke, the roof is crushed and the left rear quarter is not right. The car is fine.   :)

I did pump 18 gallons of gas out of it, so not a total loss.

So brutal mate.
On the up side you can now go for some badges.
Chainsaw, axe, slasher, fire making and outdoor cooking.

Chainsaw, axe, slasher, fire making and outdoor cooking.

I don't have a chain saw, the neighbors came over with 5 chainsaws and 4 people.
Nobody used an axe.
I didn't slash anyone.
Cheated and started the fire with charcoal lighter fluid and a bic.
I was pooped so I went out for catfish.

 I blew my chance for badges.  :ahhh

You should definitely get awarded some badges from these pictures, maybe something new and really unique like a badge for showing quick thinking and cool headed creativity in most unfortunate situation.  :salute:
