Wrench? for CRKT Lake 111

I just got a used Lake 111 and it's very stiff even after oiling. I want to loosen the pivot or take it apart for a thorough cleaning but I don't know what works on the bolts in the picture. 



I thought it was called a spanner, but Google didn't help.

Looks like you can turn that with snap ring pliers.

I think you are referring to a snake eye spanner.  They are pretty easy to find nowadays, but in the old days they were considered security bits.

You can either buy one (check eBay, Harbour Freight or possibly even your local Home Depot) or if you have a Dremel tool and a wide enough screwdriver you don't mine sacrificing I imagine you could make one easily enough.

Before you do all that, send CRKT's warranty department a message through the link on their website (http://www.crktparts.com/).

They should be able to send you out the piece you need, it's like a 4 cent piece of metal.

Thanks jzmtl and Grant, I'll try both of those suggestions if I can't find the right bit. I did find spanner bits on the Wiha site but I don't know the size and was too tired to look for a multi-pack.

jekostas, your link will be a great help! I went to the site but didn't see that page, it's great to get proper replacement parts.

I just found a Harbor Freight security bit set with 4 sizes of spanners (plus others bits) for $3 on sale 3/9 - 3/11 with $6.99 shipping so I added a few other items like a magnesium fire starter to make it worthwhile.
