Michigan / Great Lakes Meetup?

Any interest in another Michigan meetup this year? Or would there be any interest in doing a Great Lakes area meetup?

Doesn't matter when or where, but it would be great if we had more of an outdoorsy setting at the next meet.

I agree. I was thinking a State Park or other campground somewhere near Clare if we did a Michigan meetup. Then we could always work in a trip to Jay's!

For a Great Lakes meetup, I was thinking somewhere near the Michigan / Ohio / Indiana border. Although I refuse to go to Ohio until they give us Toledo back!

Depending on dates I could be up for something this summer.
If we do end up around Clare / Jays I have a contact at Jays that might be able to arrange some stuff for us.

Ok, I'm going to give this till the end of the week for anyone from the other states to chime in that they want to attend. If I don't see anything, we'll move ahead with making it a Michigan meetup around Clare.

Canada is WAY bigger than the US, and we are pretty far apart. There's one other member in my neck of the woods so it's not really a meetup so much as stopping for coffee. For just about anyone else it's a one and a half to two hour flight to get to Montreal or Toronto for a meetup there, or much longer for Alberta or BC.

If we did a Toronto Meetup I could probably get a sponsor or two and we could have a LOT of fun!
